Thunderstorms

Probably one of nature's most photogenic phenomena, thunderstorms can take on many forms and can throw just about every weather type known to man onto one location. Vast storm clouds punch high into the atmosphere, unloading torrential rain, ice bombs the size of tennis balls, and with lightning striking the ground. Violent thunderstorms can spawn winds to match that of a hurricane, and of course, the thunderstorm's most feared arsenal, the tornado. In our gallery, we have captured many of the above thunderstorm characteristics on film.
