West Cornwall Coast Path
Zennor
Zennor, just a few hundred metres away from the towering coastal cliffs of North Cornwall, is a tiny little village with only a few houses, a youth hostel, and a pub. The village grew as a result of tin mining in the area, reflected in the name of the village's welcoming watering hole, the Tinners Arms.
As
mentioned earlier, we stopped for an evening meal at the Tinner's Arms,
a minute little free house at the centre of Zennor village. What you see
here, is basically the entire pub! With great food, overwhelmingly friendly
staff, and a great atmosphere, it's a must for any backpacker!
Inside
the Tinner's, with its great selection of local ales.
The
church at the centre of the village, and a large, purple flower!!
More
friendly locals of the feline variety!
