St Ives

The town of St Ives sits on the the north coast of West Cornwall, much of it perched on a small headland between two bays. As well as its famous beaches, it also has plenty of decent restaurants and pubs, just what the doctor ordered after a good day's walking!

The main eastern-facing beach at St Ives, with the fishing town climbing the hills behind. Still very gloomy, but with pubs approaching, it didn't really matter ;-)

A panoramic shot from the headland, looking north-westwards to Porthmeor beach.

Many surfers come to St Ives for a spot of relaxation. It's not hard to see why!
