beautiful cold frontal clearance moves in over the city from the west. Rain

May

A tornado had just passed through
the town of Bolivar, which we we were chasing. As we left the town this fantastic
sunset greeted us, the sun's rays highlighting the mammatus clouds.

May
2003, Pierce City, Missouri, USA
We noticed this towering Cb shoot up in the sunset as we were heading away
from Pierce City. We pulled over for a photo shoot and the cloud was quite
spectacular as it grew. I just love the long winding road which draws the
eye to the cloud.
