September 2006
On 20th September 2006, an ex hurricane made landfall in south-west England, bringing damaging winds and huge surf. Amazingly, this system was still hurricane Gordon just a few hundred miles from Portugal a day earlier. This video follows the progress of the monster storm as it moved in to the UK.

November 2006
High pressure on November 5th led to a stunning sunset which was enjoyed across the UK. Overnight, a full moon was occasionally shadowed by fog. This very short video shows the sunset in timelapse, followed by close-up video of the moon, complete with passing fog.

December 2006
Fog became widespread across southern and eastern areas of the UK in the third week of December. This fog lasted for days, and some of it was freezing, producing rime. This video shows some of that rime, together with timelapse footage of the rolling fog banks.

January 2007
One of the worst wind-storms for nearly 15 years battered much of England and Wales on January, causing millions of pounds worth of damage, and taking over a dozen lives. This short clip in Weybridge shows the demise of a large tree branch, as winds gusted to 75mph.

Bore season was upon us once again, and the Severn Bore peaked around the 20th March. We made the journey early in the morning to chase the bore upstream once again, this time on the eastern bank of the river. This includes timelapse footage of the incoming tide.

An impressive convergence zone developed along the south coast of southern England through the day. We witnessed showers and thunderstorms developing in site in south Devon, some of which are shown in this timelapse video.

September 2007
This is not a weather-related video but we still though this was spectacular enough to be included. The Dartmouth 2007 Regatta, in South Devon, has a spectacular airshow. Amongst this was the RAF Eurofighter Typhoon which barrels its way through the valley. Volume up, and enjoy :-)

February 2008
A period of high pressure across the southern half of the UK allowed for a very foggy spell. We headed up to Box Hill in Surrey at the crack of dawn to film the sunrise and fog, including the amazing effect of polar stratospheric cloud producing a strong, orange glow in the sky.

March 2008
The tides for 2008 meant that the Severn bore was not expected to be particularly large. However, the bore on 10th March coincided with a near record-breaking depression which ravaged south-west England. We headed after the bore to see what it would bring.
