The
cafe at Pelistry, on the eastern side of St. Mary's. Cream teas are highly
recommended!

Another
stunning flower - once again growing almost wild!

The
beach at Old Town, on the southern shore of St. Mary's.

The
afternoon sea-breezes on the Garrison playing fields provide some excellent
kite conditions!

With
the brilliant weather, gardens really fluorish with colourful flowers!

...and
the local cactii can become HUGE! Behind them is the Garrison walls.

The
lifeline to the islands - the Scillonian. The only ferry to the islands
travels between Hugh Town harbour and Penzance.

The
sand is golden and the sea is blue, even in Hugh Town harbour.

Another
view of Porthcressa Beach, on the southern side of Hugh Town.

This
panoramic shot, taken from the eastern side of Hugh Town shows the Garrison,
Porthcressa Beach, the town itself, the harbour (together with Scillonian)
and across the water to Samson and Bryher. Click here

This
second panoramic shot, is taken from the Garrison, looking eastwards across
Hugh Town to St Mary's Airport and the rest of the island. Click here
