big hail core from a giant anvil over Wickham Bishops in Essex. Catching this
made it one of the best mothers day's presents I could have.

not the Great Plains but one could be forgiven! This impressive Cb gave marble-sized
hail and had characteristics suspiciously similar to a shallow-topped supercell....
