A
bright rainbow curves high above the city, during a day of thundery showers
and sunshine. If there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, someone
will have found it

The
picture was taken about 8.30. It became almost calm that evening; this thundercloud
had become stationed roughly over Whitby. As the sun went down it became interestingly
orange.

hiding behind the clouds,with Ivanhoe Beacon behind really got me.

Leaving
the jetty on Rum on a perfectly clear day, in contrast with the stormy day
that we arrived on. Note; it snowed in London 3 days before I travelled to
Scotland. In the hills the temperature topped 20 degrees!
